Anyone know of a source for a pawl spring for an Italian import New Navy style Cap and ball .36 cal. revolver.
I am sorry that i can't be more specific on make or model but i don't even know who made this gun. All i can know for sure is that it was made back in '78 and imported by FIE.
I've allready tried Numeric with no luck.
Correction: Numeric has 'em, it is a " Trigger and Bolt spring" to fit a Pietta 1851 Navy but the shipping is allmost as much as the spring.( which weighs less than a quarter)

Which is why it is often a good idea to hold off and buy several parts at one time or buy more than one of a part so as to have spares on hand.

But I am confused. What general machinists call a pawl is what is usually called a hand in gun terminology and the hand spring is different from the trigger and bolt spring.
