but I just don't know what I want for my next revolver. I was thinking of the LCR 38, but my Charter Arms 38 seems to be working much better since it had a trip to the gun smith. Also thought about a longer barreled 44 mag or 45. I only own snub nose, so it could be fun to shoot a longer barrel.

How does one go about figuring out what they like?

I love my LCR 357.

If you already have the LCR 357 then why get an LCR 38? Also if you only own snubbies then id easily recommend getting a longer barreled .44 like you suggested. How about a Ruger Super Blackhawk? Great price for a great gun...something different to add to your collection besides another snub nose. JMO.

You have a .38, want a long barrel gun and it sounds like you are on a budget. Look for a very good condition Model 28 Highway Patrolman. Six inch barrel & N frame like the .44 you desire. .38/.357 Magnum for ammo compatibility. Still not too expensive although rising in price as the higher grade Model 27 becomes a collectors item.
