I'm really exicted....I just started a collegiate rifle team!

I'm bouncing off the walls right now.

I've been doing the paper trail chase for many months now, and just got word that the idea of a student air rifle club has just been made official at my school.

We actually exist as of this morning!

And now, we can begin begging money.

I've got grant paperwork from the NRA, and have all the stuff from the CMP and USA Shooting.

Plus, I just completed the course work to become an "Appointed" NRA rifle coach.

But we exist now!!!!!!

YEAH!

As part of the student organization application process here at my college I had to first dig up signatures from at least 25 students who would actually participate with the club.

So, yes. I've got all kinds of folks chomping at the bit.........Men, women, different ethnicities, some former military, some complete newbies, etc.

We're going to start out as an air rifle club, but with possibilty of smallbore down the road.

Right now I'd almost kill for a batch of Walther LG300's......

Maybe several years from now we'll even go NCAA......dream, dream, dream....

Congrats, hillbilly.

You ought to have a lot of talent pooled in your neck of the woods. I'm up that way a lot during deer season. Let me know if I can help.

Moparmike....Get on the UA rifle club. It will help your shooting.

Shooting is shooting, no matter what sights you use.

I shot on that team when I was an undergrad up there.

Congratulations. And don't forget to get some funding from the Student Union. Those crooked outfits use to say "All profits to the students" type propaganda. Well, I never got a dime from them. Profit my arse.:cuss:
