Hey guys,i recently bought a jhp,i own a nmgc colt .45, was reading about the hipoint, after reading many reviews decided to try one out,so a little history im a stonemason for 30 years, had guns all my life, not forcollecting so much, like to shoot em.So i bought the jhp 169.00,like the weight, have put around 600 rds through it ball, wad cutter, jhp, all 230 grain different brands, its rated for + p and +p+ ammo, and gotta say no problems, none,i like the fact that the barrel is fixed to the frame its every bit as accurate as my colt. And freed up extra cash for more ammo. The worst thing in my opinion is the grips, kinda slick,as my hands are like leather. So far seems the more i shoot it better it gets,i will keep yall posted on its performance, for the price, made in america, its a great buy for anyone that is looking for an inexpensive dependable alternative to guns costing much more.
