I awoke this morning and flipped on the news. I expected to see something about gun hate, anti-second amendment, and the usual gun owners are evil dribble I have seen most days since Newtown. That would have been a relief compared to what came up.
1. N. Korea testing nukes, scary even though it was stated that they are incompetent. I don't know about everyone else but I don't know how to build a nuke. I also don't have the money a large nation has to finance that sort of thing. How incompetent is a country who is building nuclear weapons?
2. Border patrol going up against our own government. People who have one of the most dangerous jobs here getting screwed. Just sad.
3.Barry is planning on government regulation of the internet by executive order. I woder how the other two branches of our government feel about this? News channels, news papers, and other traditional news sources are all biased, sickeningly so. This is the last place that we the people have purely free speech. I don't care if someone disagrees with me, disagrees with my ideas, or even hates my guts. They can say it with little or no repercussion. Why would he want this? We use the net to gather and express idea's about things like actively contacting our elected officials. We also use the net for promoting rallies and getting info out on bills that dirtbag polititians pass in the night. This regulation would be a good way to stop us from expressing our thoughts, our distaste for the trampling of the Constitution, or hearing other people's ideas. China passed a law to regulate the internet to clamp down on their people's online dissent. This scares me the most.
4. Barry also wants to raise the minimum wage $7.25 to $9. That means that everyone that makes more than $9 loses. Those small raises that were worked so hard for mean nothing, the next person that gets hired gets $9 an hour, while these people that started out at $7.25 have worked for nothing. You know that few businesses will give you a raise to make up for that. It also means that everything is going to go up 2 to 3 times what we were paying for before the min. wage raise. So you lose even more when buying goods. They also said that 1/3 of the country in the coming year will be below the poverty line.
I wonder if the people that were in Rome when it fell knew what was coming? What's going on? How did we get to this? I also seen something about people voting for Barry twice? I didn't catch it all so I can't comment. I'm really worried. I've done my part, voting, contacting elected officials, NRA membership, and speaking with people that are either fence sitters or anti-gun trying to change their minds. I've went to both pro gun rallies and took others with me. I'm at a loss, I just don't understand how some of these people either don't care or act like lemmings following each other off of the cliff.
