What will the impact of McDonald be on certain areas that are considered "sensitive". For example, we are afforded the right to keep a firearm in our home for self defense. What about a college campus? There is student housing on most campuses, but many say that you can not have a firearm because they are on a campus which is considered a sensitive area. Will this be effected by the case? I would think that it would, as it is considered housing, but I couldn't see anything in McDonald specifically talking about it or even hinting at it.

Any thoughts?

I have been wondering the same thing. The case did not make any mention of college campuses, and would not instantly nullify any existing regulations in that area. However, if you decide to become a test case and sue the college or state, I bet the recent outcome would only work in your favor.

Unfortunately, I am graduating (again) and haven't lived on campus in many years, but i would be willing to donate to a fund for someone that would challenge it...
