I know there are those out there that believe that armor is too bulky and that it is unnecessary, but some times there is a need for it. So you look into buying some armor to find out that most military armor is 1 highly expensive and two mostly protects only the vitals. This gets to what I'm intrested in, what is the most effective easiest to make body armor. I've seen on Mythbusters they use tile sheets plasterred together but they only stop pistol ammo so not very useful if in a true firefight any ideas?
