Hello Folks!
Has annyone experience what velocity/energy i cat get out of a cast lead Bullet at 130 grain with Trailboss in a 357 Magnum Case?
The Gun is Colt SAA Clone with a 5 Inch Barrel.

I would prefer a load around 4.5 grains of Powder.
Annyone a guess what velocity i can expect?

I need a minium impuls for steel plate shooting.
I am loading a 158gr bullet at the moment and want to switch for several reasons over to the 130 grain bullets.

Greetings,
Peter

Sorry, forgot to say that, of course i know the load data from IMR.
My experience is, that most times those numbers are significant lower in real life applications.

I was hopeing for some "first hand" experience of what you can get out of the powder in a "real gun".

Greetings,
Peter

Send Hodgdon an email from their website. They'll usually send data back to you for your particular bullet but it may take some time.
