I have loaded both the 30-30 160gr FTX and 35 Rem 200gr FTX with H4895. No chance to chrono the 35 Rem but did the 30-30 using a load that exceeds the Hornady max listing and got around 2150 shot from a 20" Win 94, IIRC.

How was the accuracy? Did you use the shorter trim length? Out of curiosity how far over max? (pm me if you don't want to post it) I will be working my own up regardless.

I did not shoot for group, just checked 5 rounds for velocity. The charge of H4895 was 31gr, with CCI 200 primer and loaded into standard trim Remington cases. Cases looked normal and ejected fine.

I loaded 50 rounds last night with 10 different powder charges. Starting at hornady's starting load, and ranging to just above their max. Will be going for accuracy, but will also chrono. Will post results, but will be a while since I still have some bow season left.
