I haven't visited here in a few days as my job was eliminated and I am spending as much time as possible searching for a new one, but I had a few minutes today and just happened to log on at AR15.com before coming here.

I have not been familiar with AR15.com for very long, and I was very surprised to learn that in order to have access to the Search function, you have to be a paying member. I don't think I could get along without the Search!

For some reason, I am not very motivated to become a paying member at AR15 under those circumstances. However, I am motivated to 'contribute' of my own free will to the sites that offer FREE SEARCH to everyone.

As soon as I get a job, the first thing I will do is send my contribution to TheHighRoad, hkpro, and others.

Let's appreciate what we have here!

Amen. This site seems to be all that The Firing Line was. The knowledge base in the specialist forums is coming along nicely. The tone is cordial and informative (mostly). Its growing into a great resource. Kudos to Oleg and crew.
