All politicians belch what they think the Drooling Masses want to hear during the election, or have the good sense to keep their mouths shut when they have to. Hitlery is anti-gun, as is her voter base so she doesn't have to court the Gun Vote. Romney and McCain have to hope we have short memories. (Does anyone remember the Keating 5?) They all make me want to hurl, with the notable exception of Ron Paul.

The only topics that are important to the masses at the moment are;

#1 Economic policies and domestic spending
#2 War in the Middle East
#3 Health Care and Senior Citizen related Social Security Issues

Past that nothing else even blips the radar so far. As far as I can see if Ron Paul does not get in (or for arguement sake Huckabee) the RKBA is going to be infringed.
