Hello everyone,

:uhoh: I'm new to reloading.:uhoh:
Could some of you "reloading masters" please provide me with some tips and suggestions on what to do for the best loads and what NOT to do.

Thanks, ABL

Buy ABCs of Reloading 6th ed., and at least one other good manual--I like Lyman Pistol and Revolver Handbook since I only load pistol--if you're interested in rifles too, get the Lyman 48th Reloading Handbook--it covers both.

Don't trust a whole lot of what you read on the Internet until you've studied those manuals first. Most info out here is good, but you need to have some basis to compare when something seems haywire.

I agree with Benedict1 as far as the Lyman 48th Edition is concerned. And the ABC's of reloading. If only I could read his signature...We are in America you know...:D

Go slow and easy and check your work. Get rid of any distraction, don't be watching tv or listening to radio while working. Don't be hand loading as a social activity. Get all the ucnk off your work bench so you will have plenty of room for the job. Keep notes of everything that you do, you will likely forget important info if you try to do it by memory.

Read the sticky post for new reloaders at the top of the forum. Get a few of the books listed there. Read them. Then you'll know enough to start asking good questions and plan.

Regards,

Dave
