There is a lot of talk about ammo being scarce online but what about guns? I’m having a hard time finding various pistols and rifles at my normal go-to places like Buds. Anyone have any recommendations for online gun shops that actually have pistol and rifle inventory?

If you find a place please let us know. Been looking for a ruger LC9. Only thing local is folks charging almost double on Armslist.

I love Davidson's but, as with pretty much everyone who does not take advantage slim pickings. One place you can always buy anything is the auctions, like Gun Broker. Times like this or when something new hits it's all in how bad you want it. Stuff is always there, just a matter of how much you want to pay.

I’ve found Glocks at Academy that are not listed on their site. Just have to show up and sometimes there’s a surprise in the case. This has happened at least five times in the last month. Prices are not much higher than pre WuFlu so it’s worth the hunt. I haven’t noticed many other surprises other than Glocks though.

Everything is in stock on gunbroker.com. Give me a specific gun to look for online. I’ll see what I can find tonight.

Can't anyone who can find this site just look up what they want there? I was just looking and I did not have to log into my account with them to see what they had. I was just looking at some SR9's after the one asked and they of course have them. Of course price is always the sticking point with this. All in how badly someone wants the gun.

Slim pickings, was looking for a gun for a buddy and couldn't find much, he ended up getting a s&w shield 2.0 ez at a gun show. The gun show was fairly well stocked.

I wasn’t talking about just looking on gunbroker. I know a lot of local pawnshops and their websites show inventory that you won’t find with google search nationally or even by state. Just trying to help a guy out.

Dury's Guns here in sunny San Antonio, TX has a number of firearms in their current web listings for sale online or in their shop. Most, if not all, of their online inventory is also listed on Guns International. I haven't personally purchased any firearms from Dury's.

Collectors Firearms in Houston, TX has an always changing inventory of firearms for sale online and / or in their shop. Their primary focus is collectable items but they take items in trade so they have a diverse range of items in stock at any particular time. I have purchased a firearm online from Collectors Firearms and had a positive experience. This shop also lists on Guns International.

Here's a link to Guns International. Lots of listings here by businesses as well as individuals. Items in the Cabela's Gun Library are typically listed here as well as on Cabela's website which I like because I really don't like the current (recently changed) layout for Cabela's Gun Library on Cabela's website. The filter and display options here have worked well for me.

Here's the Cabela's Gun Library link, for sale online and / or in store. I have purchased a rifle from this system, from near the opposite side of the USA and Interstate 35 (Owatonna, MN) vs where I live (San Antonio, TX) with zero purchase hassles. I used their free ship-to-store option to the Bass Pro Shop in San Antonio where I live with zero shipping or FFL fees using that option. Included with my rifle was a gun lock and hard plastic sided foam lined gun case not spelled out in the listing. I'm not sure but I think that's standard at least for rifles purchased through this system. The rifle I purchased was shipped to the SA store in that case, inside a cardboard box that the shipping label and other labels were stuck to. A nice unexpected (by me) feature. Dunno the specifics on handgun shipping. My particular in-store pickup experience with this rifle was of a lower standard than firearms I've purchased online sent to my preferred LGS but that's just something to be endured at the gun counter at my local Bass Pro Shop. No shipping costs, no FFL transfer costs, and rifle case + gun lock at no additional cost balanced that out.

There's also Gunauction.com that previously had another site name I don't recall ATM. Not as well trafficked as Gunbroker.com and site navigation is somewhat clunky but I've purchased from listings on here.

https://www.gunauction.com

Others have mentioned Armslist.com

https://www.armslist.com

Plus there's GunsAmerica.com

https://www.gunsamerica.com

Atlantic Firearms primarily focuses on AK style firearms but has a mix of firearms available.

https://atlanticfirearms.com

Hope this helps. I'm sure there are plenty of other options, these are the first ones that came to my mind as a mix of B&M and listing services websites to post up their web links beyond Gunbroker.com which was already mentioned.

I’ve put notification alerts in at Bud’s and Grabagun. Several have come in, but if you don’t act quickly, they’re gone. That being said, the brick and mortars around me have been flush with the standards....Glocks and the like. Just my experience as I live by a very large range/store that has always had good pricing.

Those sum it up.
One can find a pistol on GB, but price will most likely reflect current supply vs demand.
From what I've noticed, prices on higher end 1911's have been less comparatively increased.

Yep, I have used them a couple times with something new. Last time it was when the Ruger 9mm Carbine hit and of course no one could lay hands on one. Kept watching and when one got to a price I could live with pulled the trigger. When I went to my dealer to tell him it was coming he laughed and said he had been trying REALLY hard to get one for 6 months

With things the way they are, you might want to develop some second, third, and fourth choices - just in case.
My local store has my G-19 and a Kahr on consignment, nothing happening in almost a month now...............

The LC9 has been discontinued, so yes, it's going to be hard to find new if at all. It was replaced over a year ago with ehe EC9.

Honestly ill take any Ruger compact 9mm without a safety. I have a LCP ll. I like it. Just have alot more 9mm then 380. Prefer 9mm over 380. Nothing wrong with LCP has been perfect.

It didn't make any sense to me what do ever, but the only single stack 9mm's Ruger has left is the EC9 with the thumb magazine disconnected safety as well as the milled in sights. They should have kept the LC9s Pro, and did away with the others. The Pro was more inline with the G43, Shield, Taurus, Walther PPS, and just about all the other single stacks on the market. I

You're going to have to look in the used market to find what you're looking for.

Im afraid so and the ones I see are more then im willing to pay. Ill wait and see what the market does next year. I might win or I might lose. Still have my LCP. So not in a big rush.

You might be waiting for a very LONG time. Maybe the thousands that have bought new Guns at insane prices will be ready to get rid of them as they are nothing but paper weights without ammo.
