In the process of loading my first 9mms

Using the following recipie:

1. 123gr FMJ
2. 4 gr VV N320
3. Magtech Small Pistol Primers.

So far have ruined half a dozen cases trying to bell them.

Ruined how? You probably need to back off your expander die. Wouldn't be a bad idea to stop right there and go back and reread the instructions that came with your dies. They will tell you exactly how to set them up in the press to work properly.

Back your expander die out of the press, run a sized case up and hold the lever down, now screw the expander die in until it touches the case mouth. From here, try a 1/4 turn at a time, untill a bullet will just start in the case. I bell to the very minimun, on all calibers, it don't need to look like a funnel

Ruined while belling over enthusiastically. ..
Anhow.. loaded a batch of 50.. went to the range and shot them off without an issue.
My pistol shooting sucks.
