What possibly could be salvaged from an item that has a bent reciever and a bent barrel?

Maybe the sights and trigger group.. but the value wouldn't cover shipping, let alone FFL transfer fees.

Scrap metal? Maybe someone with a worthless stock laying around could slap it on and take it into a "buyback"?
