Nice to see a woman saving this officers life, proof against those who say women can't be trusted with guns for self-defense because they will most likely be used against them.

It appears she got the gun from her residence, so it apparently not a CCW situation.

Ohio County, Indiana – A female bystander shot and killed a suspect, Justin Holland, who was attacking an Indiana Conservation Officer in Indiana Monday.

According to Sergeant Stephen Wheeles, “At some point during their interaction, Holland began to resist the officer and became involved in a physical altercation with the officer.” Thankfully, a hero was nearby and stepped in to assist the conservation officer in a time of need. “A female who was at a nearby residence responded to assist the officer who was being overtaken by Holland, Wheeles said.

The woman who came to officer’s aid fired a single shot from her personal firearm and struck Holland in the torso, according to FOX 19.

Women can't be "trusted".....I would like to hear these arguments.

My wife was carried LONG before it was legal to do so.....back in the early 80's she was the manager at a retail store....she would take the deposit to the bank drop it in the box....all very late at night....during Christmas very early in the morning...and at times she had over $20,000 in the bag in just cash....credit card reciepts (remember those machines you ran the CC over to get an imprint) and checks....people wrote checks at one time.

I did not like it one bit.....told her I would much rather bail you out of jail then go to your funeral, or have your mind so screwed up after you got kidnapped.

some women need to carry....IN GENERAL....they are not as strong as men, are smaller in stature....bla bla bla. For female carry there are some specific challenges for them....they wear their clothes different then men do...usually tighter (thank doG) and IMHO a purse carry is a horrid idea.....what is the first thing a bad guy wants....the purse.

Anyhoo went on a rant. If I would say anything about women and carry....it is not different from 95% of the men that carry is they do not practice enough with the carry gun.
