Rhino, if you get up to North Central part of the Land of Liberty and Opportunity, be sure to check us out at the Wildcat Valley Rifle and Pistol Club just north of Lafayette (62 miles of Indy). Trap and skeet, steel critter range (with roof), Bullseye range, cowboy shootin', Action Pistol, ICORE, IDPA, active Highpower teams, CMP program, junior programs, steel plate and bowling pin range, moving target range, "free" range, nifty clubhouse, and 300 yard rifle range.

Free tour to THR members via club attorney and all-around swell egg. Sushi after shooting is on you.:D

Back in the days of college, there was a group of us that'd go to Wildcat for IDPA and 3 Gun stuff.

Wildcat is about the nicest outdoor range I've ever been to.

Around Indy I'm told that there's a police range on the north side of town that is open to the public.

For those in Southern Indiana around Evansville, Red Brush Rifle Range is a nice private club with a number of ranges for both pistol and rifle (out to 500 yards, IIRC.)

Rhino, check out my club at: www.wvrpc.org

Or, call Club El Prezidente Jack Hawkins at Hawkins Rail, (765) 742-5577.

Call if you want the ground tour (Pahs really went nuts with the photos from his plane, didn't he). It's a great club. Very active without (knock on wood) the usual divisions between types of shooters. One drag, if you have Title II stuff, cannot fire on full auto there. Don't worry I know someone who owns a gravel pit.:D
