Indianapolis Area Pawn Shops - Good Ones?

I have been to a pawn shop exactly 1 time in my whole life and they didn't have any guns...lots of nail guns though for sure.

For you Hoosier THR members, are there any pawn shops in the area that have maybe more guns than others? Maybe two or three (or more) that you cruise regularly with good result?

One would presume hard economic times would put more guns on the used market. When I was broke when all 4 kids were in college, I sold off a number to a local dealer so I have no experience on either end of the pawn shop gun transaction.

Any Hoosier shops I should check out? Thanks.

I can't speak to Indy, but here in the Dallas area there are shops that seem to specialize in guns. The most notable one here is Bachman Gun and Pawn. It's definitely a hunt, but I try to keep them in mind when I'm about town so I can check in to see what's new. Good luck with your search.

If your looking for great deals from a pawn shop, keep looking. On rare opccasion, you will find one but down here for the most part they are expensive and generally not good quality. Most of them carry low rated pistols to turn and make a quick buck to some of the locals that don't know quality from dog poop
