The rifle is not a U.S. made 22. I can't remember the name but it is either a magazine feed 5-10 rounds. Very affordable about $130. Can someone help me out with some info, if you know of the rifle I speak of.
JT
Myself? I would get a Ruger 10/22 as you can get everything for it to make it any kind of gun you want, and you can buy parts anywhere (like MidwayUSA).
If you're open to a U.S.-made rifle the Marlin 795 is hard to beat. My cousin has one of the Mossberg Plinksters. It FTF's about every 10-12 rounds. My Marlin has never FTF'd.
IIRC, you can usually find the 795 for less than a hundred bucks with iron sights.
I got an ad in the mail from Dick's sporting goods the other day, and it had the Marlin 795 listed for $100 after a mail in rebate of $20 or $30. If I had even the slimmest of excuses for getting another .22...
Purchased my Sig 522 for $391, put a $99 Primary Arms M3 multi recticle red dot ( Marsh the owner is so easy to do business with) on it and she just goes and goes, not picky.
the armscor is quite good; it is a clone of a Savage 64 if you ask me.
I have shot many armscor stuff, and their ammo. All good.
My friend is a dealer in Katy, and he sells those, I think for about 100 bucks ,
maybe 110. email me if you want his email address, he charges 20 bucks for a transfer.
I believe they made 15 or 20 round mags for it as well.
