I've got a chest safe that was in a bank building built in 1910. The building was built around it.
Tore the building down and got the safe out. It's about four feet wide, three feet deep and six feet tall. About the same size as a modern large gun safe. It has some shelving in it that will have to be torched out.
Haven't pulled it across the scales, but the guy that loaded it with his trackhoe estimated it's weight at 9,000 pounds.
Just waiting to find the proper location to install it.
Let's see someone try hauling it off or tipping it over...
