Info on Interstate shotgun

I have a double barrelled 12 ga. with exposed hammers
no other info is on the shotgun other than Interstate Arms and a serial number
It is not new or a reprodcution and is at least 50+ years old
any info would be greatly appreciated??

goto www.briley.com/articles/grampas_shotgun.html It is probably a CRESCENT FIRE ARMS CO. shotgun as per the article ( INTERSTATE ARMS CO mentioned at end of article). If it has no proof marks it is probably U.S. made , as anything made in EUROPE will be covered with proof marks.
