Info on MMC Power Checkering Tool

I just recently purchased an MMC power checkering tool and am looking for some info on it. The tool is in good running condition, but I am concerned that it has sat unused for the past 20-25 years. Apparently the lubricant used in it can harden over time and needs to (according to the factory manual) be sent back to the factory for cleaning and re-lubrication). Not sure if the wheel on it is high speed steel or carbide, but it is also badly in need of re-sharpening.

I did find the following company that lists that they still manufacture these, but have not been able to get in contact with them yet. Just curious if anyone has any experience with them, or any other insights about this neat little tool. Any info would be appreciated.
