Taurus Brasil .357 Magnum 6 shot. When cylinder is out I can see the number 66. I have searched and searched and searched and can not seem to find any info on this gun. All the model 66s I find are 7 shot revolvers. I'm lost here. The only thing I have tried to find are grips but after all the searching I feel as if, when I need anything else it will be very difficult to research. Thanks for any help. Can get pics if needed.
 
Anybody with anything? Only place I can find this thread is in my subscriptions......oh well, it shoots :)
 
The Taurus model 66 was introduced in 1993, as a 6-shot / .357 Magnum revolver. If you contact the factory and provide a serial number they can probably provide the information you need concerning what's available in parts, including stocks. They may be the only source, as not many aftermarket stock manufacturers offered anything for this model. However some stocks made for the S&W square-butt K-frame might be modified to work.

My Brother in law has a Taurus model 66 and it's a 6 shot. I don't remember when he bought it. It is also made in Brazil. I do remember he replaced the grips some time back. He spent $80 for some custom made grips, so I don't think anyone has an after market available for that.
