Anyone know of a place to informally target shoot in Mass without joining a range? State forests, wildlife management districts, sand pits? Any info would be helpful, thanks.
Can't "Target shoot" in the WMA's, BUT english sparrow, flying squirrel, red squirrel, porcupine, skunk, starling, weasel and woodchuck all have no closed season. You'd need a non-resident LTC and hunting license.
Honestly speaking though you're much better off on private land.
