Has anyone tried the short throw roller handle for the LNL AP press that Inline Fabrications makes?

I noticed that Ultimate Reloader offers a roller handle also but didn't see a short throw listed.

I was woundering how it would work with loading 9mm and 357mags in respect to how much more effort it takes over the full length one?

thanks

I bought the one for my LnL a few weeks ago. I like it just fine. It's not really short throw as the handle has to move through the same arc as the original, but the starting and ending positions are different. It suits me.

I'd just bought an XL650 and also bought the version for that press rather than the one Dillon sells.

I took a piece of 5/8s round bar and made my own short ergonomic roller handle. Works great, I resize everything with it, 223, 204, 22-250, 45acp, 380acp. Works great.

I have one.

There's no difference in the effort required in the throw.

The handle itself is too short, and compared to others (Dillon) is too small and your hand bumps in to the arm, so it's moderately more annoying.

It's still miles better than the stock ball handle, but if I had it to do over again, I would adapt the Dillon roller handle.

That's good to know, I may just make my own. McMaster Carr has lots of roller handles I could put on the lever I have. Or I'll just bend out a new lever.

Thanks for the input guys.
