"Insomnia" on Comedy Central 9/11

Last nights episode was in New Orleans. The premise of the show is the Host travels from city to city and basically drinks his way from Midnight till Dawn and interacts with the locals.

Part of the show was him riding with agent of the Dept of Fish and Wildlfe? They were Shooting nutria (big ugly water rats) with a suppressed .22 outta the back of a moving pick up truck. One agent was on the hood with a spot light the other guy was in the back in a lounge chair plinking away.

Who says LEO's don't get to have some fun every now and again.

Being in Louisiana I'm surprised they weren't stopping to pick them up for barbicue later. :neener:

Seriously though, sounds like a lot of fun. Think they'll rerun it? I used to really enjoy watching it but it just isn't on late enough for me to be able to anymore.
 
I am sure they will re-run it eventually. I saw this episode over a year a go while I still lived in the states.

The guy doign the show is pretty funny, so I always watched it to see what loons he would run into in his journeys.
 
I like the concept of that show... and can relate all too well. The host "Dave" seems pretty cool. I've never seen that episode. How did Dave react to the gun, and the shooting of critters?
 
Dave also went trap shooting with a one-armed man in one episode. That was interesting to watch.

Just a warning: Insomniac is NOT appropriate for children, they get into *very* adult situations practically every episode (Dave seems to always find a few porn stars and strippers to hang out with, along with being falling-over drunk on occasion).

Dave Attel is hilarious. He also seems to like shooting. In one episode, I think it was Memphis, he went to a shooting range and shot some pistols and seemed to really enjoy it. How he convinced them he wasn't drinking...I don't know LOL
 
In another episode in Memphis (or Nashville?), he goes to "ladies night" at all-night shooting range and takes handgun lessons from some gal there.

'insomniac' has been to several firing ranges, and dave seems to be interested in guns, hasnt said anything 'anti' that i've seen.
he brought his show up here to anchorage, and based on the amount of places he went to, i dont think he did it all in one night. they probably do the barhopping in one night, but then they go other places that must be done seperately.
 
Dave Attel seems neither enthusiastic nor distasteful of guns. He seems to treat them as just things and things to use. By the number of times he's been to the range on the show, it would appear that he's somewhat enthusiastic or his producer is.
 
Dave is hilarious! And no the show isnt filmed all in one night. They scout out the weeks location and spend the entire week there getting the footage. He has a hit on his hands as he is into like the 3rd season. I think Dave is the producer of his own show? He went to guns america range in Memphis I believe?
