InstaCheck changes??

Dropped into my favorite gunshop this afternoon. There was a discussion going on about the NCIS checks and recent changes to them.
I'm always delayed. Used to take a couple of hours to get cleared then for the past couple of years I'd get approval during the same phone call.
I was told today that due to changes in the system if I'm delayed it will take at least three days, possibly four before I can pick up my new gun. Dealer can't call back, he has to wait for them to call him.

Dealer was talking about this yesterday ive never been delayed.

But he did say now there will be the 3 day wait no ifs ands or buts is what they told him no calling back etc etc.. We figure its just more time to do background check also heard they were cutting back # of people who are running the ncic Thsi is all just guess work.
