afew days ago i posted about improving the hi power trigger pull, got alot of good advice. yesterday I received my parts from C&S (sear, hammer, 22lb mainspring and lighter firing pin spring) took me a while to get it all in and file fit the safety.working on the hi power is a pain in the butt, the trigger pin and hammer strut pin are very very stubborn, that and changing the mainspring, but it was all well worth it . the difference in the trigger is tremendous, their is a bit of creep but nothing too bad. i have no idea the actual weight but plan on buying a pull gauge to check it.

in time i may try to under cut the sear but i would practice on the factory sear make sure i can get it right that and maybe lower the hammer hook.

i took it to the range as soon as i was done. my groups are no longer shooting extreme low. they are all dead on now. i can keep them in with in a 6" circle at 20 yards-not great but before i couldn't even hit a 9"x11" printer paper at 20 yards. shot 200 rounds of 115 grain and everything functions great.

i do have one question tho. i installed the mainspring that came with the hammer&sear from CS, a 22 pound main spring. i am running a 18.5lb recoil spring and a recoil buffer. do you think that a 22lb main spring is too light to be shooting 115gr ammo from? if i were to keep the 22lb spring would it be better to shoot 124 or 147 gr or just ditch it for a 24/26lb mainspring?
