Installing RSC in wall, need advice

So I got this wild idea since all the closets in our house are too small to put a safe in. It's an older house that was built in 1956. I don't know the exact names of the walls and structure but it has an opening running the whole length of the 2nd floor in the front of the house accessable by a small door. I have blown insulation in this part of the house but the roof in this area is not insulated. What I am worried about is how hot it will get in this area where the safe will be sitting in the summer time. I don't know if a dehumidifier would help and if I should insulate the roof in this area. I will get some pics up to better help get an idea of what I plan on doin.

This is the access door to give an idea how tall that wall is with the pitch of the roof. The small door is about 5' tall. Again my only concern is how much humidity will there be since that part of the house is not climate controlled. Thanks in advance THR
 
The only security containers that I've seen installed in an attic space was done after the attic space location for the safe was boxed off and had the HVAC ductwork extended to provide some measure of cliamte control to the area.

There are two good reasons for this. The first being that the steel will conduct heat/cold. The second being a condensation nightmare by having non uniform temperatures throughout the box.

I don't know where you live, but assume you get cold winters. Most of the body of the safe sits in the attic where it's cold. The door faces into your room which is warm. Since the majority of the safe is in the cool space, the contents will also be cool. You open the door, and all of the warm air in the room rushes in, and everything metal inside the safe gets moisture on it instantly.

If you're going to go this route, you will need to make the air conditions around the safe the same as inside the room.
