Integrated Threat Focused Training Systems returns to Knoxville May 19 and 20 for the pistol course. This will include techniques from several of the threat focused systems and the dynamic movement and shooting skills using several techniques learned from the course of fire on Sunday afternoon

The pistol course will require up to 1000 rounds per day, eye and ear protection is required.

May 21-25 is being reserved for those who want to take advantage of my being in the area without having to come to Az for either the pistol course of fire, the rifle Quick Kill training, or defensive edged weapons training and take advantage of the personal instruction students receive when they travel to Arizona.

May 26 and 27 we'll be training in the rifle quick kill course of fire offered for the first time outside Arizona. Students can use anything from a 22lr-.308 such as a levergun or Ruger 10/22 through .223 AR's, M1 carbines, and similiar rifles. If you have a red ryder bbgun, bring it.

Students will learn ariel and ground target shooting without the use of sights initially and then move on to the rifles, shooting threat/targets from 40 feet out to 200 feet instinctively, after they have mastered the concepts with the bbguns.

The cost of the pistol and rifle weekend courses will be $400.00 per weekend. Individual one on one instruction during the week will be determined based on the time and materials students wish to cover, at a discount from the normal daily rate here in Arizona.

If you have any questions or wish to reserve a slot for one of these courses or personal instruction that week, please contact myself by email at arizonaqkr [ at ] yahoo.com or private message here on TFF.

Just to let everyone know, the courses are going to be at the same private property location as the spring session.

You'll want to bring rain gear or hot weather gear, perhaps both. Spring in East Tennessee is unpredictable.

Hotels are within 30 minutes of the farm and primative camping on site is possible.

We pushed the training back a week to get my 50th birthday out of the way so it wouldn't interfere with the start of training. (in other words it'll all be over before you guys get there:neener:

Brownie,

Don't forget that you were going to offer another handgun course on the following friday that week that builds on the first 2-day. Where I think of the 2-day as a beginning/intermediate defensive handgun course I consider the follow-on to be more of an advanced handgun course. Have I got that correct?

Thats right Mike. Students who have been through the two day ITFTS course will be able to step up into the next level of training which will include using the threat focused skills they've already developed.

Here's the breakdown of the training fees for this:

ITFTS 1 pistol course=$400.00

ITFS QK Rifle = $400

ITFS 1 + ITFS QK Rifle = $750 4 days training

ITFS 1 + ITFS 2 = $500 3 days training

All 3 courses = $900 for 5 days training

One on one with myself during the week for any course = $250.00 per day which is a huge savings over my normal training fees as I'll already be there that week.

Dan said he'd drag a car over to the shoot-barn (it is a barn after all;) ) for the ITFS II and Rifle courses so you'd have cover/concealment that folks would encounter in the real world as well as a vehicle to work from inside of.

Anybody interested may want to reserve your spots. I think we're getting close to capacity on ITFS I and II is about half full.

JMusic;

You bet it will be a good 9 days sir.

Looking forward to getting back to basecamp at Dans and all the training coming up. The "shoot barn" sounds like a good time to cover some of the things I've learned in my own training with H+K.

HSO has put together one hell of an event here, including his advertising flyers he sent around to businesses which really impressed me. I'll touch base next weekend with you, the calls got dropped last time around. Stay sharp.
