Decent mid-range scopes, very good value when they were being closed out at the end of summer in 2008.
In September of 2008 I wrote this on another website
When these first came out I immediately suspected that they were the reincanations of the older Simmons 44Mags and Aetecs.
A little while after that, ATK bought Weaver, Bushnell bought Simmons, and Leupold bought Redfield, all from Meade when they got out of scopes. (which is good news)
A few weeks ago I spoke with an ATK employee at the Great Outdoors festival in Oshkosh, WI. I was asking him what ATK was going to do now with Intensity, Nitrex, and Weaver. He said that they would probably sell the Intensity scopes through independant dealers. He also admitted that the Weaver deal was a surprise to them and it kind of fell in their laps. He was saying how wonderful the Nitrex scopes are.
I wonder if the Intensity line will go away, and if these are being clearanced out?
