I have an Interarms mark x action in a .257 roberts and the saftey is broken. Can someone point me in the right direction to find a new saftey, parts, or a new action?

Lee's Gunparts, Numrich, Brownells, Midway. Most places that deal in gunparts should have them, or something that you could make work.

Is your safety "broke clear off" broke?
Or does it just not work right?

There is a big difference.

The factory MK-10 trigger assembly is adjustable, and if you mess with it, you also have to adjust the safety to work correctly again.

There are four screws on the trigger housing.
*Top Rear adjusts the Sear engagement.
*Bottom Rear adjusts the Over-travel.
*Top Front adjusts the Pull weight.

*And the Bottom Front adjusts the Safety to work right again, after you screw around with the first three.

the action was bought new in 1969 it is missing a spring and the screw is stripped sorry about the confusion

Then your best bet is to replace the whole trigger assembly with a Timeny or other after-market trigger with a self-contained safety.
