I wouldn't

I had a really small digital camera with the same pixel rating (640 x 480) and it stank! If you take a picture with that camera you'll notice what it is, but the clarity will be blurry (DETAIL LACKS). If it dosen't say AT LEAST 1 megapixels run! I think that I saw the same item at wal-mart for less on friday. Hope this helps. Save the $$ and get a nice starter camers around 3 megapixels or so. There are up into the teens for a really good one. Saw one that was $1000 and it was 8 or 9 megapixels, and had a 10x lens in it and a 2x digital..drool. But a kimber tactical 4" is calling my name too. Decisions decisions.....

DAROGUE1

Took darogue1's reccommendation and ordered the next one up which is a 1.3 Mp unit http://store.price-works.com/viewcatcher400.html .

It takes very nice pics. I would post one hjere but the size limitation precludes that. Got a pic of the specialized truck in the weekly military convoy going through here that transports the nukes to Cheyenne for service. This place is pocked with silos.

you can reduce the size of your photo

I just got a winXP machine. I found out that I can right click a jpeg image, select Resize, and choose the smallest size. Then a smaller version of the image pops out in the same folder, with the name modified with a suffix [small].

You can use Picture viewer in win 2k, or microsoft picture viewer to open up your image file and resave it as a lower quality (say 50 %) compressed jpeg image

have fun

Okay, I tried what you said and got it down to 65k.

The shape on the side of the trailer is not a door. I thought it was but walked up to these guys one day and asked what the "doors" were for and why they were shaped that way.

He told me that it is an environmental shield that drops down to isolate the area when they pull the warhead up through the bottom of the trailer.

One ofthe escorts

This is one of the Humvees, usually four in front, four in back, that accompamy the truck. They are mounted with an M-60 or chaingun. This one had a chaingun.

Once they are on the highwqay, the State Patrol runs interference for them by blocking onramps so traffic can't merge into the convoy.

There is also usually a gunship overhead but there wasn't one the day this was taken.

The onramp you see them going on is about 800 feet from where I took the photo.

I think I'm gonna like this thing.
