LGS has a Charles Daly SSA clone in .45 LC. Some kind of mat finish makes it look like a cap gun. Hard to even see Charles Daly on the barrel. Nice wood grips and brass grip frame.
PERFECT timing. PERFECT lockup. When you cock it, it sounds like a Colt SSA (which I bet means same type lockwork.)
Has KBI-HBG,PA F.LLI PIETTA-ITALY on the bottom side of the barrel so it's made in Italy.
$250. Has not been shot much at all.
So, what are your experiences it such a piece? I'm not much of a Cowboy shooter but a .45 LC is nothing to sneeze at. And I reload for .45 LC!
Worth the price? Do they shoot strait? Last long (I'm not expecting Ruger strength, just Colt SSA strength.) Are they .451 bore diameter?
Thanks,
Deaf
