I recall back a while they had proposals that would change the system, and another bill would expand reciprocity. What happened?

So, anyone know what changes or what happened in Iowa this year?

SomeKid,I remember reading a few months ago about a proposal to make Iowa shall issue.
We had a thread about it that I started.Iowa Sheriffs are the stumbling block,They are adamantly opposed to shall issue.Several Iowan's commented that these Sheriff's are mainly power driven little Napoleons who want to retain their power, particularly in the more liberal eastern part of the state.
Nothing has happened to change anything,TMK,and reciprocity seems stalled at the same number of states.
With the current political makeup of Iowa the future looks bleak right now for shall issue and increased reciprocal agreements.
