good idea. i think modarmory and several others sell various versions of that to go on everything from the ocular of scopes to night vision. they run about $60-120 from what i've seen.

i was considering making one out of a pvc pipe that would slip fit over the ocular housing and then just superglue an iphone case to the pvc pipe.

I've tried the PVC and superglue and it didn't stick for some reason. Just a heads up.

heh, ok, thanks for the tip... back to the drawing board :)

Did you try primer/cleaner on the PVC before gluing, I have had some luck gluing dissimilar plastics to PVC after priming both pieces.

Very neat design and quality construction. Looks to be a solid and sturdy set-up as well.

does "greatstuff" stick to PVC?
To the OP, great job. Have you tried it on anything with more recoil? If so, how'd it hold?

Nice...I made one for my iPhone that uses a rubber coupler that fits over the scope on one end, and a PVC pipe on the other end. JB weld connecting the iPhone case to the PVC but that joint failed so I used three very small screws countersunk in the case going into the PVC pipe. Works great but awkward to aim when shouldering the rifle.

Ive seen one before. But if u could modify it so it was similar but cheaper than one of those around the corner guns.Like the SWAT teams use.Think its called a cool shot

Part 2. This is just fun. Everyone likes to plink, I think. And this lets you record the fun. Side note: aiming is a bit awkward.

The only thing that would make a mount like this more fun is if I could still get a good cheek weld. A scout type mount should work great.....hmmmm

Right. Using any kind of adhesive was frustrating since aligning the scope and iphone is so important. I'm gonna try this using a scout type mount to make shouldering the rifle easier.
