ANyone know if that video and the picture mentioned in MIchelle Malkin's column are avaliable anywhere else?

Just curious to see what was said firsthand.

Oops, it's gone from youtube already.

I saved a copy in google video format. I'll see if I can convert that to mpg or avi and post it.

History repeats itself. Was John Kerry standing beside him and repeating his lies????????????? :cuss:

I've got the *.flv from Google, not the craptastic three-part version from youtube. (Can probably convert it to *mpg if needed, but Video Lan Client works great for me.)

If folks want a copy and can't get it anywhere else, I have a tiny server on a fat pipe; send me a note.

A fraud? Is this like George H W Bush's fraud and star performer, Sheik Yo'Money Saud Nasir al-Sabah's daughter Nayirah?

And her tearful performance before our Congress, that Saddam's troops were "throwing babies out of incubators" in Kuwait?

LAK, what on earth does your post have to do with the subject under discussion? We're not discussing anything pro- or anti- Bush, or Republicans, or Democrats, or anything else - just a fraudster who has been exposed. What makes you drag up a completely unrelated, politically biased comparison? Or am I missing something?

maybe the guy is trying to position himself for a presidential run in a few years........

Okay, I'll admit I'm a product of public education, but if he is 21 or 22 (which seems to be the case if the Wikipedia article is correct and he was born in 1984), he'd sure have to wait a while until he's 35 which is the minimum age to be elected as President. Heck, he can't even be elected to the House of Representatives yet for a few years.

Could he possibly be making a comparison to John Kerry, who made some outrageous and false claims, but was the democratic presidential nominee 30 years later? He never specified the 2008 elections...

Preacherman,

My cited example at the highest level, was presented before Congress to induce public support for what was perhaps the beginning action of this current "war". Pretty relevent, unless you want to view each singular political events in this "war" in isolation of each other.

There are a great many people in this country who did not support it - opposed it - from the beginning. Now this guy appears on the scene saying that some elements of our operations there have been doing such and such, and is being decried as a fraud.

So my attitutde concerning this alleged fraud, rolled out I assume "to support a partisan view on the "war" - or "discredit George Bush" might be ... so what? Perhaps we can call it - "One fraud deserves another". It seems we are living in an age where such frauds are to be considered "the norm". They keep appearing, roll by, and are then conveniently buried.

The show goes on.

"One fraud deserves another"

This guy is a fraud, he decieved people for his own gain/glory.

The Bush administration did what it thought was best considering the evidence.

The region also needed to know we were not to be F'd with.

Ran across this today:
In January 2004,Thomas Friedman wrote: "The real reason for this war — which was never stated — was to burst what I would call the 'terrorism bubble,' which had built up during the 1990s.

"This bubble was a dangerous fantasy, believed by way too many people in the Middle East. This bubble said that it was OK to plow airplanes into the World Trade Center, commit suicide in Israeli pizza parlors, praise people who do these things as 'martyrs' and donate money to them through religious charities.

"This bubble had to be burst, and the only way to do it was to go right into the heart of the Arab world and smash something -- to let everyone know that we, too, are ready to fight and die to preserve our open society. Yes, I know, it's not very diplomatic — it's not in the rule book — but everyone in the neighborhood got the message: Henceforth, you will be held accountable.

"Why Iraq, not Saudi Arabia or Pakistan? Because we could — period."
