Thanks! Good to know your brother made it back in one piece. My cousin left his lower leg back there somewhere. Those young men and women are beyond belief working with all that gear in 120 - 140 degree heat. We are lucky to have such fine troops!

Oh yeah, and amidst all the bullets flying around, IEDs exploding, snipers, etc. :D

Where was he stationed? That mosque looks very familiar.

Also, when was he there and what's his MOS? I'm a little surprised to see DCUs w/ a Woodland IBA. Everyone over here (even all the POGs) has ACU stuff now. Regardless, tell him welcome back and well done.

helpless,
Please thank your brother for his service...

That's some AK in the above pictures. I don't think I'vew ever seen one like that!

There are some pics online somewhere of Hussein's Gold AK-47

Here it is:

And with the piles he had, you can see why the POS coated almost everything in gold.

thanks everyone for your comments, He is not a member on THR but I had him check out this thread today.

Tell your brother "Thank you so much, for his service to our country"
If we had more people like him, we would not be in danger of losing our country as we now know it.

Cool AK's

Thanks Cory ....

Thanks for posting the pictures Helpless ....

Cory,

Welcome home ! Thank you for your service. May you live a long, healthy, and happy life.
