NASA says some 'Iraq' photos are shuttle victims
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Several dozen photographs of coffins recently identified by news organizations as remains of U.S. soldiers who died in Iraq are really images from the space shuttle Columbia explosion last year, U.S. space officials said Friday.

Now, I'll say that I'd object to them showing my flag-drapped coffin on the news pretty much no matter how I was killed. I wouldn't be supprised if many of the images are from other sources as well.

A few photos used were supposedly from the Columbia astronauts, but the one's i've seen are of 20+ coffins, shuttle only holds 7 people..

I believe these photos should be distributed for years to come to show politicians the blood on their hands. Also to show people the potential cost of our actions abroad.

I agree. And we should also see expose's and pictures of the twin towers, the planes being flown into the towers, pictures of the 19, the people jumping, the death and destruction, the bodies and body parts being pulled from the rubble, the downed airliner that was heading DC, etc. ;)
