Is 300 for a smith model 65 a good deal?

A local shop has a a smith model 65-2 on the shelf for $300. It has large target style wood grips but they are not the factory smith ones. It has a matte non shiny finish with some scratches and blemishes. The lock up is not very tight but there isnt much flame cutting on the top strap either.

I already have one model 65 but not sure if i should hop on this deal or not. Would this be considered a steal or just average deal?

If it's a 3-inch barrel, that's not bad. If it's 4-inch in that condition, I'd pass.
