I have owned this Mini for awhile now.

Going to the Dallas Market Hall Gun Show with this rifle tomorrow... Things are so crazy, I have no idea what to ask for it? Any insight would be appreciated.

188xxx Series Stainless Ranch
Clark GBS Stabilizer ( shoots 1/2 - 1" MOA round after round)
Simmons Deerfield 3-9X40 Scope
1 5 round factory mag
10 20 round factory mags

There's one at my gunshop - $399 used in good condition.

He had another two that looked a little better for $429,

All of them came with 1 mag.

In Indiana they go used in good shape for around tree fiddy. but sob if the new legal deer calibers havn't sky rocketed.

Random Minis don't shoot like that.

Sounds like your rifle is roughly equal to a good AR15. That is the price range I'd think towards. With the extras costing extra.

where are you guys finding used ones? ive looked for awhile for one on the used rack, but have came up empty....if you all have them in the 350-400 range i would give you a few bucks to get me one.

i'd say 650-700 for just the rifle and 5-round mag. you could easily tack on another 350 if those are factory mags, more if any are new. with all the mags, don't accept less than $1000. don't know anything about that scope. i would use the scope to sweeten the deal and give you some leverage.

Brand new stainless mini here in NC for 649. I like what you have done to that mini. Why selling?

Just as an FYI, Sunday afternoon is about the worst time to sell.

Individual private buyers are there early Saturday looking for the "pick of the litter". Some actually "walk the line" that forms before the doors open (some of the dealers do as well).

The guys behind the atbles are looking to "buy low" (and early) to put it on their table to "sell high".

Sunday afternoon is a good time to buy, esp. if a table holder hasn't sold much of anything all weekend, and is looking at packing "all that stuff" up and taking it home...

If you don't do well at Market Hall, try posting it on the Texas CHL holders' website--lots of locals, fair chance of some good results.

Good luck, R

You're offering a rather 'specialized' package there.

The mags are worth about twenty bucks each if in good shape (remember--Ruger is selling new ones @ 29.95 right now).

The rifle might go for quite a bit if you hit the right buyer.

Maybe close to the 1K mark with the mags and goodies.

I didn't sell-- the show was not very busy at all.

Re: Mag prices. Maybe it is just me but I think it makes little or no difference if these mags are new or lightly used. They will ALWAYS bring $30 or more. Ruger is backordered again on the mags.

The Clark Barrel stabilizer is from Clark Customs - yeah, that Clark Customs in LA. Link. It was almost $300 with installation and I guess that high price was the reason it has been discontinued for sometime now. It is the only Mini 14 mod I know of that will consistently shoot 1"MOA.

Why was I selling? You pay for that kind of accuracy and I don't need it. I need a knock around hog/coyote truck gun and less expensive and unique rifles will fit that bill nicely.

I do appreciate all the replies. It pretty much confirms my idea of what the package is worth.

Ruger is 'backordered'--but the delay is < 2 weeks on delivery---not months and months or never.

That said, sure, marked factory mags in good shape will always have a market as there is no glut of them even though Ruger is FINALLY selling them.

Hey, maybe hang onto what you have anyway---the day on cheap .223 may come again and it sounds like a pretty cool Rifle.

Andyj hate you didn't sell your gun. I think you have it modded so much that the price puts it right there with ARs and such. Not many are willing to spend that much for a Mini. At least not all at once.

I need a knock around hog/coyote truck gun

Thats sorta funny. Thats what you had before you did the mods to the rifle. LOL.

I actually traded for this gun a few years ago as is.

The Clark GBS put it on the same level price wise and performance wise as a basic AR "back in the day". It is what it is.

Well now I understand. You have a gun that would appeal to a lot of shooters who prefer the Mini to the AR. I am one of them. I bought two brand new ones this summer. I liked the first one so much I bought a second one.

You might want to list you gun for sell at perfectunion.com. Thats the mini-14 headquarters. You have all the stuff done that some mini shooters want to do. And if that gun sells then look at the new 580 sereis guns. Thats what I have and I can't beleive how well they shoot.

Plus if you go with a stock mini you can keep your mags and just sell the gun. I have found this usually works best anyway. For some reason some people don't like package deals. If you part it out it will probably bring more.
