A friend and I are wanting to hunt Coyotes in KS with our ARs. Both our rifles have Aimpoint sights. I have not been able to contact a Game Warden to find out if the Aimpoints are legal to hunt with or not.. I am getting conflicting stories from other hunters.

I thought someone here might have a quick answer.

they sure are legal. the kansas hunting regulations says, "It is legal to use lighted pin sights, dot sights, holographic sights, optical scopes, and range finders if the systems do not project visible light toward the target and do not electronically amplify light. Laser scopes and night scopes are prohibitied." this is under general deer regulations, but applies to everything else.
