Is "Blue Wonder" that good?

For as long as I can remember, I've been using Hoppe's #9 and RemOil on my weapons (both issued by the USMC and my own). Always seemed to work pretty good. But I keep hearing stuff about this "Blue Wonder" line of various chemicals/oils. At first I thought it was just hype, and would soon pass like so many other things. But I keep hearing it here and there, and now I'm curious. Can't try it out personally right now (they kind of frown on that in the Corps, and I'm in the sandbox right now anyway), but I'd appreciate any input you could give me on this stuff.

Blue Wonder is great - if you love the fumes of ammonia it leaves everywhere.
I tried it, didn't much care for it. Sweets and CR-10 are better at removing copper and just about anything is better at simple carbon cleaning.

and even worse, the tube I had bought cracked open in my range kit a couple years ago...................I cleaned it all out and to this day the kit STILL smells like ammonia.

i shoot lead & use eds red to clean up with ,works good but not on copper fouling.
Blue wonder is very hi in ammonia content best use with proffesional ventalation!!!! it has its uses , but far inbetween for me.

It doesn't seem to do much with copper fouling, but with a stiff bronze brush it works very well at removing lead fouling.

And on some 0000 steel wool, with light rubbing, it takes surface rust off steel without damaging the bluing around it.

IMHO, Blue Wonder is one of the two top guncleaners you can get from the market today.

I bought a tube of Blue Wonder a few years ago, and after giving it numerous attempts to succeed, I was disappointed. The only "Wonder" was why I wasted money on this cleaner. Been using Wipe-Out, the foaming gun cleaner, and have been happy since.

A product I find that works great is PB Blaster.
It's like liquid wrench but better,It gets under everything and cleans great.
I plugged the end of My Mosin Nagant and filled the barrel with PB Blaster and let it sit overnight,The next day cleaning was easy. The barrel is not mirror bright but there is now a shine where it was just dark.
