Is everyone still loving their Ruger Wranglers?

Are there any single action revolvers that have a cylinder that opens up like a DA? Like is that even possible? I don’t mind the SA, it’s just the loading/unloading that’s slow.

I can't speak at all to their quality, but there's the Diamond Sidekick line of revolvers with swing-out cylinders. They're DA/SA, but have the look & feel of the old SA revolvers (and can, of course, be fired SA to further recreate the feel :) ).

So, when they originally came out, I got a standard model; and really liked it. Enough to get a birds-head version as well. But when they came out with the Super Wrangler... I was impressed. Like a mini-Blackhawk with actual adjustable sights. Now, the regular Wranglers kind of sit in the safe, and I've switched to 22mag exclusively for its accuracy. I even bought a Model 48 to accompany my single-action fun with some ol' double-action goodness.

My only problem is that the Wranglers are SO cheap, they're not really worth trading in towards something else. I've overheard others at the LGS being offered $50 for theirs. [Heck; that's a commercial box o' 45colt!]

So... I just hang onto 'em. For now...

I'll bet someone has done a comparison of that Diamondback and the Super Wrangler on you tube. I'd like a DA SA.
