Is Kings Gun Works still in business?

Hello,
I went to Kings Gun Works' website and got called their number and was advised that they sold the store to Gun Kings Armoury. The gentleman I spoke to advised me that they were still in business and were reachable at the phone number 1-800-242-9449. I telephoned that number and eventually a women picked up the phone, I enquired about them being in business and able to sell me a Kings #203/70 Blue grip safety, since Brownells doesn't list them as being produced. I was told that Kings doesn't sell to Brownells anymore and to just write a letter with part description and number along with a money order for $29.95 + $6.00 shipping to a P.O. Box in Glendale, CA. This was several weeks ago IIRC and I've not received any information about the order. I called the phone number again and found it disconnected. I am currently concerned. Does anyone have any information about Kings Gun Works status? Thanks for any information.

They were very much in business last October, maybe it was September. I called them and made three separate orders that were shipped quickly. Talked to a very nice woman who told me that the website couldn't be relied on. She sent me a catalog even, but a quick look through my desk bookcases didn't turn it up for you.

I guess it's possible that the state found a way to force them out since then but everything seemed fine about six months ago. I'm guessing at how long ago it was though - coulda' been last summer but I really don't think so.

Yes the numbers on the website are to the company that Kings Gun Works apparently sold the store to. The man at the number told me to use the 282-9449 number which worked but now seems to be disconnected. Huh?

They are/were the only ones to make exactly the grip safety I needed, and I may be out $35. Hope they make contact.

Last I heard, King's closed down the gunsmithing part of the business, but intend to continue the parts side.

That site is outdated. The address is of the store that was sold and is now under a new name and different management as is the phone numbers. I talked again to them today. The 242-9449 number did work and was connected to the original Kings Gun Works and it was through a conversation, I decided to purchase the grip safety and got the details and prices and address to send the M.O. Now that number is no longer in service or disconnected. The store has no relation to the original Kings Gun Works. Thanks though.
