Is Loctite necessary for weaver mount on Mark III?

I've recently purchased a Ruger Mark III pistol (Target Bullnose) that came with a "custom" weaver mount. I want to put a red dot wide field sight on the weaver mount.

My question is: do I have to use Loctite on the screws to attach the mount or can I get by with simply checking the mount for tightness regularly? I'm not certain I want to keep the mount on the gun all the time and may want to remove it to use regular sights (which are already sighted in).

If its the weaver mount that comes in the box with the pistol, its grooved in the center to allow use of iron sights with the rail mounted.

I'd try it without loc-tite first, and use the blue later if you must. I've found the Ruger pistols seem to shake things loose a lot more than the wimpy .22 recoil might make you expect, so mine have ended up with the blue loc-tite on the screws.
