Give 'em a call and ask...

I do know they closed down the plant they had outside of Boulder City NV a while back... and I haven't seen much of their ammunition for a while, but then I haven't really been looking for it either.

I for one would like to see them back. They made a nice 185 gr. JHP in .45 ACP that worked great in my Colts, yet a box of 50 was cheaper than a box of 20 Winchester Silvertips. I found this particular load to be reliable, accurate, and gave decent performance, especially with my Commander and Officers models.

I'm not sure.. I hope not. I'm always buying boxes of the PMC .357mag 158gr. JSP. One local place always has it a good few dollars a box less than everything else. I notice it has particularly hard primers, but it's been accurate enough.. and most importantly cheap ..hehe

Hard to imagine that an ammo manufacturer would be struggling right now, you'd think they'd get in on the military contract bandwagon.

I hope wallager is right, price is good and not much powder residue, always goes bang.:) I've been waiting to see some for my 38, not as much in stock as I would like to have.

I hope they are coming back...PMC 1-OZ 2-3/4" was the slug load that my 12-Ga Maverick liked the best.

Their ammo in .357Mag & .45ACP was very good stuff, too.

I have been told that PMC is out of business.

Interesting that you should mention this, GrimReaper, because their standard pressure 132 grain .38 Special FMJ is my favorite target load for my J-frames and I haven't been able to get it from my dealer in quite some time, maybe 4 months or so. He didn't say that PMC was out of business and I didn't think to ask, but that might explain why it's disappeared all of a sudden.

...price is good and not much powder residue, always goes bang.

Right on, I've always been very pleasantly surprised as how clean that stuff is. Compare it to Winchester white box or American Eagle.

Great ammo, I hope PMC is still going strong.

PMC is not going strong. Last word I had was they'd sold equipment.
Last time I was able to get a live body to answer their phone was about two years ago. They returned no messages I left.

PMC is gone as far as I know. They sold off all their test guns to a gun dealer I know.
The story I was told....
They were having problems getting military contracts because they were located in the US. So they were moving off shore to work strictly on filling military orders. Now that is second hand, but what I was told.

Yea, i know. I love their ammo. Been buying it in 9mm, 10mm, .223, and 7.62x39. Best stuff for the buck!

PMC .45 230 gr. ammo has always provided outstanding accuracy and consistency for me. Great stuff. They're one of my 2 favorite/most trusted commercial .45 makers.

The only "bad" PMC ammo I've ever shot is some recently purchased 124 gr. 9mm that just sprayed out of every 9mm that I shot it through. That's 3 Sigs, a CZ 75B, a G19, and a Hi Power. Never again. UGH!

I had some bad PMC for my 40. Was likely the hard primers. I couldn't get a full mag out of the gun without two or three fail to fires.

I will jump on the lovefest, sad to see them go bandwagon. I shot both their .40 S&W and .41 mag. ammo. It was inexpensive (particularly for the .41 mag.) and reliable for me in all of my autoloaders.

Wish they would come back! Their demise really pushed me into reloading for the .41 mag.
