Just curious if anyone has seen the new M32 MSGL grenade launcger the USMC is going to be using? All I know is I gotta get one of these!:what:
(Mod's feel free to move, I did't know if it fell under "Rifle" or "Non-firearm" or what)

very nice, the corp is in the know. guys on the ground with the right tools beat anything else.

Well you can buy them, I actually saw one on some firearms site on sale to civilians but man I hope you have about $10k... cause that's how much it was going for.

I was going to point that out, TDH. Also the four rail forward grip. Just what all can you put on there besides the red dot that'll be useful? I do find it interesting that it's mount is set up to allow for longer range shots.

And how is *that* legal for civilians to own while a basic AK isn't?

Basic AK is, if you can find one that made the amnesty before '68. Same Title II classification as any other MG.

DD's weren't cut off by FOPA. You can still buy them brand new. Problem is, each 40mm grenade is also a DD and will require the same approval and $200 as the launcher. Inert 40mm projectiles do not fall under such regulation

very cool, and I'm sure, very useful too.Gotta be kinda heavy to lug around though, i'd think. The launcher itself looks like they did a fairly good job of making it as light as possible, but loaded with 8 (it looks like) grenades, its gotta like triple in weight....
Anybody know what a grenade weighs? (I'm actually asking, as I have no idea).

Why a bayonet of course!

Those cylinders look kind of long. Does that shoot standard M203 rounds or can it handle the kind of rounds the Mk19 shoots?

Is it a secondary weapon or primary?
If you notice the soldier in the first picture has a M16 as well, but I think that he is only out on a practice run. I think that it would be too much weight for a soldier to have to carry with the M32, an M16, a pistol, extra mags & extra grenades for the launcher.

Here is the big question how would someone go about getting that? eg trying to find one to buy, (I already know the NFA process but somebody should explain it for those less informed)

Your title II FFL would have to get it directly from the manufacturer after your form 4 is approved. Whether or not they're willing to distribute to SOT's I can't tell you.
