Just loaded up some .380s. I loaded some 95gr FMJ over 3.1 gr Bullseye. I drop checked them into my removed bbl. to make sure they dropped in freely to seat on the case mouth and that they rotated ok. I'm happy with the .975 OAL on those. Next I loaded some Rocky Mountain Reloading 95gr JHP over the same 3.1gr Bullseye. I seated a dummy round to .965 and did the drop test. I had to reseat it down to .962 for it to rotate freely. I beleive that should be ok also. Then on to 90gr Speer Gold Dots over 3.2gr Bullseye. My Alliant guide says OAL .970 for the Gold Dots. I'm assuming that's maximum. I set up another dummy round and seated it to .965. I had to reseat that down to .960-.961. From what I've read, that appears to be at or very near the minimum OAL for Gold Dots. Anyone see any problems with these?
