I read that someone got an email from one of the Taurus reps that the 28ga Judge was finally approved by the BATFE. Any ideas?

I couldn't find anything with that link. It just goes to the forum and nothing truly informative showed up when I searched for the Raging Judge 28.

That one's on the Pt1911.

Link doesn't work.

No mention of the 28 ga. version here, or of any legislative issues.

Again, no mention of the 28 ga. The "Raging Judge Magnum" is just a .454 Casull version of the gun.

I don't see anything to indicate that Taurus and the BATFE have reached a new agreement and that they will release the 28 ga.

As always, there are rumors, but the last person I've heard from that spoke to Taurus about it reported that they had no plans to put it into production.

Guess we're still waiting.

There is this.

The Taurus Raging Judge 28 Gauge Revolverwww.gunsamerica.com/.../the-taurus-raging-judge-28-gauge-revolve...Cached-

None of this is coming out today. Feel free to delete please.

So who is waiting with you because I am not.
;)

O.k...so I didn't say "anticipating," just "waiting." I'm all for new guns in the world. I don't necessarily have to want every one of them. :D

Well, that link is broken, too, but I saw the page to which you're referring. Just a note from Guns America saying "Michael Bane says..." that there may be some kind of a deal in the works.

Again, that's just rumors, unless Mr. Bane is an official with the BATFE tech branch.

EDIT: I looked hm up. He's not any kind of official -- just a tv guy or reporter.

Not exactly, there's the "Raging Judge Magnum" which is the .454 Casull version.

The 28 ga. version, if I understand correctly, was supposed to be called the "Raging Judge XVIII."

All the nomenclature similarities lead to rampant (one might say "raging") confusion. :)

None of those links talk about the "Raging Judge 28". That is NOT the Raging Judge Magnum. Completely different gun.
